Inner Tubes

For calculating the number of 48” diameter inner tubes a facility should have on site, Zebec recommends taking the area of the river, divide by 20 SF/bather, and add 25%. If you are using double tubes (72”), figure that they will comprise 20% of the actual total.

For calculating storage areas, an inflated 48” diameter tube is actually only 43” diameter and 10.5” high.
