The new Robert W. Browne Aquatic Center celebrated its grand opening in March 2015. The facility includes a competition pool along with a smaller warm water exercise pool, spectator seating, locker rooms and community rooms. The facility was designed with the latest in energy-saving and sustainable technology. Coldwater High School and Middle School students will use the center for swim lessons and lifeguard classes, while the Coldwater community will utilize it for learn-to-swim classes and water aerobics.

The project was made possible by a $15 million gift from Dr. Browne, a Coldwater native, who also funded a major expansion of the city’s Heritage Park Recreation Center.
