Berkeley, MO

VIEW ALL PROJECTS

In June, 2003, the City of Berkeley, MO, retained Counsilman Hunsaker to research aquatic recreation options and to provide information to help community decision makers determine how to proceed regarding the construction of an aquatic center.

Due to numerous repairs required to safely operate the facility, the Berkeley Municipal Pool did not open in the 2002 summer.

The purpose of the Feasibility Study was to identify and evaluate current programming and facilities in the local, regional, and national markets to establish needs and programming for five options for the proposed aquatic center with various amenities for the City of Berkeley.
