Charles J. Colgan High School is home to Prince William County’s first indoor aquatics facility and specialty performing arts center. The adjustable 25-yard pool supports practices and meets for the county’s swim and dive teams with a moveable bulkhead for flexibility in offering both short-course yards and meters swimming. The instructional pool is open to the public seven days a week for lap-swimming, leisure swimming, swim lessons, and a variety of other programs. An American Red Cross water-safety program for second-graders from surrounding elementary schools is also offered during the school day.
The new high school also includes a specialty performing arts center, a black box theater, specialty sound classrooms, gymnasium and outdoor sports fields.
