The team of Counsilman-Hunsaker, DLR Group, and Tobin & Associates designed the new $63 million Cheyenne South High School for Laramie County School District #1, which opened in August 2010. Counsilman-Hunsaker provided aquatic design for the eight lane 25-yard competition pool with two 1-meter springboards, water surface agitators, air bubbling system for dive training, and a water polo course for the school's aquatic program.

In addition to the pool, the facility also includes a football stadium, an eight lane track complete with track and field areas, two full-size soccer fields, five outdoor tennis courts, two competition gyms, a wrestling room, a weight/cardio room, and locker areas.
