VIEW ALL PROJECTS

In 2010, the team of Pivot Recreation, a division of Counsilman-Hunsaker, and Marmon Mok were retained to provide expert assistance in the development of a 68,000 sq. ft. recreational center and outdoor sports complex. The goal was to provide data to guide the city with the most beneficial athletic markets to target. The city’s goal was to explore every option available to fund the construction, and to manage and operate the facility, including the possibility of public-private partnerships. The consultant team provided a market analysis, community survey and a feasibility study to meet the growing recreational and sports tournament needs for youth and adults within the Universal City area and throughout south Texas.
