The City of Dallas retained the team of Counsilman-Hunsaker, Hector Gomez Architects, and Kimley-Horn & Associates to plan and design new spraygrounds in several Dallas area parks. Locations included:
- Campbell Green Park - June 2006
- Lake Highlands North Park - June 2006
- Ridgewood Park - June 2006
- Ferguson Park - August 2008
- Beckley Saner Park - May 2013
- Willie Mae Butler Park - May 2013
This lively park enhancement offers families an exciting, refreshing new way to enjoy the park. Parents can have a summer picnic while children revel in their water adventures under misting water towers, circular geysers and spritzing water cannons. The spraygrounds are also barrier-free and wheelchair accessible.
Each sprayground has an on/off sensor where kids can activate the sprayground, thus keeping them busy for hours as they zip around the colorful hands-on water play equipment. State-of-the-art water treatment and filtration systems ensure safe water play and optimum water conservation.
