El Segundo, CA

VIEW ALL PROJECTS

Aquatic centers are an important part of the City of El Segundo's recreational and healthy living ideal for residents and workers. The Pool Alternatives Study was undertaken by Rossetti Architects in association with Counsilman-Hunsaker. At the direction and guidance of city staff, the study included a significant community outreach process to provide the city with a clear view of the anticipated needs and concerns from the community perspective.

Partnership options, operational expenses, and an evaluation and comparison of three (3) identified feasible sites for various sized aquatic centers were presented. The report included investigations, analyses, findings, and recommendations to guide the city in the planning, and implementation of a well-designed and operated aquatic center in an accessible setting for residents and others who live, work, and play in El Segundo.
