The Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences is a sleek 21-story hotel and condominium tower, offering 149 rooms, 36 private residences, and a courtyard with an infinity-edged lap pool.
The 310,000 sq. ft. mixed-use development in prime downtown Seattle features terraced, U-shaped architecture, differentiating from the city's more traditional boxy buildings. From the waterfront, the Four Seasons stands in Seattle's skyline as the only major building with a visible internal courtyard, offering breathtaking water and mountain views of Elliott Bay, Puget Sound, and the Olympic Mountains.
NBBJ, in association with Counsilman-Hunsaker, designed the courtyard to maximize the sweeping views of the rugged Pacific Northwest. The 500 sq. ft. infinity lap pool appears to flow directly into the sequined waters of Elliott Bay, while multidimensional lighting at the bottom of the pool creates a glowing atmosphere for night swimming. Other amenities include an 80 sq. ft. whirlpool spa, and three outdoor fireplaces for year-round use, all surrounded by Zen-garden landscaping.
