Transcending tradition, the Four Seasons St. Louis, exhibits the ultimate in cosmopolitan aquatic high style. Designers used a chic palette of watercolors in the form of dripping azure, cascading sapphire, falling indigo, and reflecting garnet on different levels of the hotel.
The seventh level, a private day spa, features a relaxation pool with a tile and pebble interior finish with a spectacular view of the St. Louis skyline.
The eighth level outdoor terrace hosts a fire/water fountain, containing two copper bowls: one housing fire, and one the source of water. The water bowl fills to the brim, spilling into a tiled basin, creating a 360 degree infinity edge where fire appears to be floating on top of the water bowl. A pebble and tiled heated lap pool comprises a grand stair entrance and accommodates an automatic cover. A sprayground includes deck-hung spray jets and color changing lights, all computer programmed with a multitude of sequences.
Located at the center of the terrace is a red glass mosaic reflecting pool, capturing the grandeur of the St. Louis Arch. This pool, designed with a raised 4” black granite infinity edge around the perimeter, is attached to a whirlpool spa. Also located on the terrace is a whirlpool spa consisting of a tile and pebble finish with upper and lower hydrotherapy jets for relaxation.
Located on the lower level is a 22 ft. long water wall consisting of a tile and marble surface, allowing water to flow up through the center core, filling an angled trough and overflowing the edges.
