Genesee Foundation Pool (Audit)

Genesee, CO

VIEW ALL PROJECTS

The Genesee Foundation commissioned Counsilman-Hunsaker to provide a swimming pool assessment to assist with planning for the future of aquatic offerings in the community.

Genesee provides two 1979 aquatic facilities for its residents. The Vista facility consists of a main pool that is approximately 1,250 sq. ft. and a tot pool that is approximately 315 sq. ft. The Foothills facility has a five lane lap pool that is approximately 2,950 sq. ft. The Counsilman-Hunsaker audit provided repair and renovation options to address the aging conditions of the swimming pools while also offering an option to create a new aquatic facility that would appeal to the whole community at the Foothills site.
