Hood County Recreation Center (Study)

Hood County, TX

VIEW ALL PROJECTS

One of the key recommendations of the 2011 City of Granbury Master Plan, performed by Halff Associates, was to partner with Hood County in building a recreation center in the next 5 to 10 years.

In 2011, Hood County retained Brinkley Sargent Architects and Counsilman-Hunsaker to develop three multi-generational recreation center options. The feasibility study detailed site-specific construction estimates with line item costs for each proposed space.  This was significant in order to make comparisons so the county could focus on what would be the best fit for the region and within its budget.
