For Hotchkiss School aquatics, 2002 was a big and exciting year—it marked the grand opening of the new natatorium for the school’s Bearcat swim teams.

The team of Counsilman-Hunsaker and Ellerbe Becket designed this world-class aquatic facility to meet the school and Athletic Department’s programming goals and objectives.

This excellent pool is used for lap swimming, recreational swimming, exercise classes, swim meets, and other activities.

In 2016, Hotchkiss School commissioned Counsilman-Hunsaker to audit the competition pool and make recommendations for much-needed repairs and updates. Short-term and long-term recommendations were addressed with an opinion of project costs.
