The Kendal at Oberlin indoor pools, built in 1995, were audited by Counsilman-Hunsaker in April 2009. The assessment evaluated the existing lap pool and therapy pool as well as their respective mechanical systems. The report explored new technologies and equipment to assist the pool staff with pool operations as well as enhance the natatorium and swimming pools.
Additionally, the audit provided an opinion of probable cost for the recommended items and necessary repair work.
In 2011, Counsilman-Hunsaker was again retained to perform aquatic design services for the renovation of the pools such as replacing cracked depth markers, replace flow meters, provide ultraviolet treatment systems for each pool, and provide water meters.
