“Make no little plans," once said by renowned Chicago architect Daniel Burnham, is the motto behind Lemont Parks and Recreation District’s largest growth spurt in 40+ years.
After determining Lemont residents’ recreation needs and desires, the proactive renovation and expansion of Centennial Park’s 50-meter pool included replacing the pool with both a new multi-use outdoor pool and a shallow water leisure pool.
This multi-purpose aquatic facility meets the community’s athletic/fitness and leisure programming needs. Such facilities are becoming more desirable throughout the nation due to their multi-use design, which caters to many different aquatic programming needs and fitness activities.
