The Long Branch Public Schools retained Counsilman Hunsaker to study an indoor competitive aquatic facility and to provide information that will help the School District make an educated decision on how best to proceed regarding the construction of the facility. The Long Branch Public Schools are interested in providing additional aquatic experiences in the form of lessons for school district children and a competitive swimming venue to accommodate the much needed competitive swim market.
The report was based on research including meetings with the School District executive staff, interviews with representatives of the community, and an analysis of the existing aquatic conditions in the Long Branch, New Jersey, region.
The Facility Impact Study identified the community needs for a competitive aquatic facility and determine programming required to generate revenues to recover operational costs associated with those needs.
Thomas Associates, Architects & Engineers, prepared the concepts that were considered when completing this study.
