The Thompson School District commissioned Counsilman-Hunsaker, in association with DLR Group, for the replacement of the competition swimming pool at Loveland High School. The existing pool had been empty for six years as the aluminum pool had major structural issues that concerned public officials about swimmer’s safety. The pool also did not meet current Colorado public swimming pool health code requirements. The existing PVC liner was showing signs of fading and bubbling throughout; therefore, the existing pool was completely demolished and removed.
