Mifflinburg Community Park Pool (Study)

In February 2024, the Borough of Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania, engaged Counsilman-Hunsaker to conduct a feasibility study to evaluate the current condition of the Mifflinburg Community Park Pool and explore renovation and replacement options. The study aimed to assess the need for a renovated or entirely new swimming pool complex, providing several design alternatives to address the aquatic needs of Borough residents. The team developed comprehensive proposals, including construction and project cost estimates for both renovation and new construction. Additionally, projections were prepared for annual operational expenses and potential revenue. Options considered included various pool configurations and possibly replacing the existing pool with a spray pad.
