North County Recreation Complex

St. Louis, MO

St. Louis County Department of Parks and Recreation and St. Louis County Port Authority closed the pool at the North County Recreation Center due to the pool's age and obsolescence. The old flat-water pool was shifting with crumbling concrete and broken pipes, presenting a number of safety concerns to swimmers.

Project Amenities

The project required the demolition of the existing pool deck, tank, and associated mechanical systems. Elements of the new family friendly waterpark feature an attractive zero-depth pool with two colorful waterslides. Lap lanes, a lazy river, and a diving board tank offer hours of water fitness opportunities. Not to be outdone, a wonderful water wonderland provides children a place to romp and play with spray features and the ability to slide down just-their-size waterslides.
