Counsilman-Hunsaker has conducted a detailed feasibility study for the Native Village of Unalakleet, Alaska, to determine the costs and requirements for developing a new community and high school pool. This project is envisioned to provide a vital recreational and educational resource for the residents and students of Unalakleet. Our study included comprehensive site assessments, community engagement sessions, and an analysis of local needs to ensure the proposed facility aligns with the village's aspirations and expectations.
Counsilman-Hunsaker developed various design concepts for the new pool, incorporating features to support community recreation and high school swimming programs. Each concept includes detailed cost estimates, projected usage rates, and financial models, clearly understanding the project's feasibility and sustainability.
