Prince George, BC

Counsilman-Hunsaker and Dialog prepared an Aquatic Needs Assessment Report for the City of Prince George, BC, Canada, for its two indoor aquatic centers. The purpose of the study was to understand how these two facilities were performing and how aquatic programming should be delivered to meet the current and future demand of the Prince George community. Including information gathered from a citywide survey, a public open house, and city staff and stakeholder meetings, the report provided direction on current and future aquatic services, and whether the current facilities were able to meet those demands or if they required renovation or replacement. Recommendations, costs, and timelines were proposed on how the city could best move forward.
