VIEW ALL PROJECTS

The City of Roanoke Parks and Recreation Department vision is: To be positioned as a premier “best in class” parks and recreation system that provides high quality, maintained parks, recreation facilities and programs that are accessible and cost effective. The existing aquatic portfolio for the City of Roanoke includes two outdoor swimming pools: Fallon Park Pool and Washington Park Pool.

The latter pool has undergone a Facility Audit by Counsilman-Hunsaker and subsequently, the City of Roanoke retained Counsilman-Hunsaker to perform a Feasibility Study for the pool’s cost replacement in order to bring the pool and its amenities into the 21st Century.
