The City of Rolla made a commitment in 1999 to upgrade their community aquatic and recreation programming and selected Counsilman-Hunsaker as the lead aquatic consultant. In 2000, the outdoor swimming pool was renovated into a new leisure pool. In 2001, in conjunction with this project, a new recreation center was developed.

The aquatic complex embodies the community’s needs and objectives by combining leisure areas and fitness/competitive swimming programming spaces. The family waterpark has something for everyone to enjoy.
