Chumash Community Center

Santa Ynez, CA

VIEW ALL PROJECTS

In July 2006, Counsilman-Hunsaker, in association with Harley-Ellis-Devereaux, was selected by the Santa Ynez Band of the Chumash Indians to design the new Chumash Community Center. The state-of-the-art facility was designed with a focus on bringing the community together. Central within the building's design is an outdoor lap lane swimming pool and a 10 person spa. The outdoor garden like atmosphere of the pool promotes a social gathering place within the Chumash Community Center.

This project is currently on hold due to lack of funding.
