In 2003, the State of Delaware retained Counsilman Hunsaker to research family aquatic options and to provide information that will help determine the feasibility of constructing a new aquatic center in suburban Wilmington, DE. The purpose of the Facility Impact Study was to identify and evaluate current aquatic recreation programming and facilities, both locally and nationally, and to establish needs analysis and programming in a preparatory, comprehensive analysis.
Two Facility Programs were developed with compatible amenities for the proposed Delaware Aquatic Center.
