U Mass Dartmouth – Tripp Athletic Center Pool (Audit)

In September 2005, the University of Massachusetts - Darthmouth retained Counsilman-Hunsaker in association with Nault Architects to evaluate the existing 27-year-old pools in the Tripp Athletic Center. The university commissioned this audit to identify items that are substandard or not operating as designed.

Areas of study included the pool finishes, starting blocks, safety equipment, re-circulating system, main drains, piping, pool heating, make-up water, valves, filtration system, overflow
system, water chemistry treatment system, pumps, flow meters, gauges, etc. Counsilman-Hunsaker provided recommendations and cost estimates for each of the recommended repairs and modifications.
