An audit report was prepared after a site visit in December 2014 to the existing aquatic center at Utah State University located in Logan, Utah. Conditions were evaluated and interviews were conducted with personnel familiar with the construction and operation of the facility. Field notes, meeting minutes, and photographs were utilized to prepare assessments, preliminary recommendations and estimated costs.
The report included detailed analyses based on staff interviews, visual observations during the site visit, and information provided by staff in the form of drawings and specifications. A review summarized modification priorities that were divided into categories of short term (0 - 5 years), long term (5 - 10 years), and energy saving (anytime) items. A budget was developed to restore the pools into “new” operating conditions.
