Students of Wartburg College have a chance to engage in all types of sport recreation at one of the largest NCAA Division III facilities of its kind. The 200,000 sq. ft. Wartburg-Waverly Sports & Wellness Center not only offers intercollegiate athletics but also college health and wellness. Moreover, the center provides educational services to the citizens of Waverly and the surrounding area.
Swimming enthusiasts enjoy the light-filled Schuldt Natatorium complete with:

  • 5,800 sq. ft. Competition Pool
  • 25-yard competitive/lap pool
  • Sunken athletic training cold tank
  • ADA-accessible zero-depth entry
  • Vortex
  • Waterslide

Among other state-of-the-art features, the center offers a fitness center with a climbing wall, a performance arena, auxiliary gymnasium, racquetball courts, weight room, aerobic studio, and a 200-meter competitive indoor track.

One of the finest community wellness centers in the Midwest, Wartburg-Waverly Sports & Wellness Center is dedicated to promoting lifelong wellness for people of all ages and levels of ability.
