VIEW ALL PROJECTS

The Birmingham Public Schools commissioned Counsilman-Hunsaker, in association with TMP Associates, to design new recreation, athletic, and academic facilities for Groves High School.

Other upgrades to Groves High School include renovations to their indoor physical education and athletic facilities.
In addition, classrooms were upgraded with state-of-the-art instructional technology equipment.

Project Amenities

Responsible for the design of the new competition pool, Counsilman-Hunsaker created a functional, attractive facility with numerous amenities including:

Stretch 25-yard pool with eight lap lanes

1-meter springboard diving

13 training lanes to accommodate dual waterpolo courses

Movable bulkhead

Mezzanine-style seating
