Wyoming Life Resource Center is a state-run facility owned by the Wyoming Department of Health. It is a residential community with therapeutic and medical support services. This 24-hour care, 365 days a year, intermediate care facility serves people with intellectual disabilities, challenging behaviors, and individuals who are hard to place.  It is home to state-of-the-art care, learning, and job opportunities.

Project Amenities

Each person served has an individual plan for training, work, healthcare, and recreation. Residences provide a comfortable, family-like setting in an accessible neighborhood. Independence is promoted in life skills, community access, social interaction, and leisure activities.

 

In 2021, the renovation was completed on the existing aging buildings with ten new client cottages, day programming buildings, a clinic, a recreation center with a 750 sq. ft. indoor therapy pool, a separate spa, and a facilities building.
