The team of Counsilman-Hunsaker and MKSD were retained by the City of Harrisburg to conduct an audit of their two existing pools, Jackson Lick and Hall Manor. The audit included an analysis of the pools and bath houses with recommendations for repair or replacement. It was determined that both pools have exceeded their useful life expectancy. Recommendations for replacement pools were considered by the city staff. Two options were presented with emphasis on project costs, potential revenue, and operating expenses. Each option included new trends in the aquatics industry to give the citizens a facility that would last for the next 30 years.
