We serve excellence. From vision to reality, it's important for Counsilman-Hunsaker to bring our clients complete satisfaction. Our diverse and experienced team provide innovative solutions so that your project can be completed on time and within budget. A few of our design processes include:
Project Programming and Conceptual Development: Kicking off your project with a thorough needs assessment with users, stakeholders, and constituents, we'll identify the defining goals and opportunities set for each project.
Schematic Design: Counsilman-Hunsaker tailor designs that meet the desired outcome. During this phase, we will communicate with the architect to develop probable construction costs and estimate data for the aquatic facility as a whole.
Design Development: After pinpointing any issues the design team may need to resolve, we prepare design drawings for the pool and features. Our LEED accredited professionals will apply sustainable design elements to lower operating costs and improve energy efficiency.
Construction Drawings and Specifications: Final coordination across teams becomes critically important as we present specific details for pool and aquatic facility construction. Our internal quality control process ensures that plans comply with applicable codes and standards.
Pool Contractor Procurement: With construction documents complete, pool contractors bid on the project based on experience, workmanship, aquatic equipment and systems knowledge, and past performance.
Construction Administration: Maintaining project quality at key milestones throughout construction, our professionals conduct on-site visits to monitor progress and submit formal reports. We review any contractor submittals, shop drawings, project information, and requested substitutions.
Project Commissioning and Operational Support: Once construction is complete, Counsilman-Hunsaker continues to offer many levels of support for ongoing operations. Our Aquatic Management Program and full suite of web-based applications help facilities train and lead staff while maintaining standards of excellence.
