In June 2019, Angleton ISD celebrated the grand opening of their newest competition pool. The outdoor pool is equipped with air-source heat pump heating and cooling technology, allowing the district to maintain ideal pool water temperature year-round. The stretch 50-meter configuration with dual moveable bulkheads provides the district with multiple program arrangements for training and the capacity to host major swimming and diving competitions, along with basic swimming lessons, life safety courses, and community recreation. The facility has been designed to also allow the possibility of fully enclosing the swimming pool in the future as budget allows.
