Albert Lea, MN (Aquatic Management Program (CHAMP)

Counsilman-Hunsaker was contracted by the City of Albert Lea to provide Aquatic Management Program (CHAMP) services and conduct a review of the operations at the Albert Lea Aquatic Center. The review included current policies and procedures, emergency action plans, documentation practices, water chemistry records, rescue and safety equipment, and lifeguard zones. Following the review, the City of Albert Lea was provided a report with recommendations based on the findings of the review and comparison with the Model Aquatic Health Code, American Red Cross Standards, and Minnesota Environmental Health rules.
