Counsilman-Hunsaker worked with SH Architecture to evaluate new options for the replacement of the 40-year-old Boulder City Aquatic Center. Counsilman-Hunsaker conducted community input meetings and met with aquatic user groups and stakeholders in order to develop three options that included indoor competition and programming pools, several options for outdoor leisure water, as well as racquetball courts, a fitness center and group exercise room. The proposal, which will cost an estimated $27.3 million to complete, was recommended for approval and forwarded to the City Council for consideration.
