In 2014, Counsilman-Hunsaker was hired by the City of Denver, Colorado, to perform an audit of their swimming pool portfolio consisting of 29 pools, both indoor and outdoor. The pools were rated in a categorical system showing deficiency priority, age category, and condition. Recommendations, considerations, and project costs were detailed to bring the pools up to code.
In April 2018, Counsilman-Hunsaker was contracted to produce schematics for all the City of Denver’s mechanical rooms at each of their 26 facilities and to label the operational piping according to industry standards for pool operations. The purpose was for inspectors, EMS, or other workers to be able to identify easily the piping and how each function.
