VIEW ALL PROJECTS

The City of Portland, ME contracted Counsilman-Hunsaker to develop options to renovate or replace the existing Kiwanis Pool. The existing L-shaped, 6-lane pool no longer met the recreational needs of the community and had several ongoing maintenance concerns. Counsilman-Hunsaker developed three options that included 6-lane competition pools as well as various sizes of leisure pools incorporating a children’s play structure and waterslides.

In 2022, the City of Portland retained Counsilman-Hunsaker to provide an update to the 2019 feasibility study to provide current costs and revised conceptual plans.
