The Salvation Army Central Territory aquatic staff hired Counsilman-Hunsaker to conduct a Certified Pool and Spa Operator Course in collaboration with the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance. The usual two-day course was offered entirely online in a blended learning format. The certification, which lasted five years, emphasized equipment maintenance, operational requirements, compliance with local and state codes, water quality, daily operations, and maintenance planning.
