Lake of the Woods Association, Inc. (LOWA) is a community association of 4,256 private home lots and over 8,000 residents. The community provides many amenities including a private lake around which home sites are located, a clubhouse, two pool complexes, a community center, golf course, and stables, most of which are close to 50 years old.
In 2016, the LOWA retained The Lukmire Partnership Architects with Counsilman-Hunsaker to prepare a study to evaluate alternative concepts for the swimming pool, bathhouse, fitness center, parking lot, and outdoor recreation courts in the clubhouse area.
