Counsilman-Hunsaker worked with the City of Englewood, Colorado to update the master plan for the Pirates Cove Water Park that was first developed in 2016. Wanting to focus on increased capacity, thrill attractions and unique aquatic amenities, several options were developed that focused on a multi-passenger waterslide experience, an activity pool for teens and a racer waterslide. Construction cost estimates were developed in preparation for the City's 2024 bond referendum.
