In 2021, the 13,770 sq. ft. Southern Regional Aquatic Wellness Center addition was completed. The facility meets the goals of providing the local community with a mixture of pools and water temperatures for aquatic activity and water therapy. In addition, the facility through innovative and efficient design met the project's sustainability goals, resulting in LEED Silver certification for the facility.
Project Amenities
The new facility features a reception area, three bodies of water, which include a therapeutic pool, a leisure/lap pool, and a spa. The facility also boasts a large viewing area, a wet/dry multipurpose room, two family changing areas, large locker/restrooms, staff offices, a vending area, and complementing support facilities.
