Having reached the 53-year mark, this pool has begun experiencing challenges commonly observed in collections that have endured for half a century. Specifically, the pool shell has developed cracks, and there are suspicions of water loss occurring through the below-grade piping infrastructure. Recent repairs have been undertaken on the pool shell, and these remedial measures were meticulously assessed and considered alongside new recommendations.
Despite the existing maintenance efforts, concerns regarding water loss persist, necessitating additional scrutiny regarding water tightness and piping pressure testing. The comprehensive audit report encompassed various topics such as pool finishes, water chemistry, chloramine control, dehumidification, and other operational recommendations.
