In 2013, Johnson Development Corporation purchased 2,046 acres of historical property, featuring pristine wilderness, from the Sam Houston Area Council Boy Scouts of America. The property was developed into Grand Central Park, a master-planned community where residents could live, shop and dine in a beautiful wooded environment.

Today, Grand Central Park is a growing, thriving community, attracting residents with a wide variety of upscale home choices surrounded by the same naturally-wooded beauty that has attracted legions of young nature lovers for over 70 years. Only around 800 acres of the property was developed, with approximately 1,200 acres of woodlands, 100 acres of lakes, and miles of existing trails remaining.

A 3,000 sq. ft. babbling brook, holding 7,200 gallons of water with a trio of columnar sprays, is the focal point of Trillium Park. The park complements other outdoor features within Grand Central Park, including The Grandeur trail system, the 88-acre Grand Lake, and other lakes and fields, and features a covered pavilion, picnic tables, and park benches.
