The Jayhawks host events at Robinson Natatorium, which has served as the home for Kansas swimming and diving for more than 40 years. The facility has gone through numerous upgrades throughout the years. The current structure features the East Pool, a six lane, 25-yard competition pool with adjacent diving well, and the West Pool, an eight lane, 25-meter pool. The diving well contains one-meter boards, three-meter boards and a diving platform.
On July 12, 2017, Counsilman-Hunsaker performed a swimming pool audit on the two pools which identified items that were substandard, items not meeting current industry swimming pool design standards, or equipment not operating as designed, and to assist in defining a course of action regarding the future of the pools. In addition, an opinion of probable construction cost was provided for recommended repairs to bring the pools up to current industry swimming pool design standards.
