After being retained to renovate the indoor pool located at the Student Recreation and Fitness Center, the University of Memphis was concerned with the operational cost associated with running an indoor competition pool. Counsilman-Hunsaker was retained to provide an operational analysis that would compare the current cost of operation to that of the proposed renovation. The analysis would also determine a percentage of usage by user group to assist the university in allocating fees.
