University of Tennessee – Martin – Elam Center Competition Pool (Audit)

Counsilman-Hunsaker was authorized by the University of Tennessee – Martin to provide a swimming pool audit in October 2018 on the Elam Center Competition Pool. The facility opened in 1972 and consists of a 50-meter by 25-yard competition/lap pool. Counsilman-Hunsaker was commissioned for this audit to assist in identifying items that are substandard or not operating as designed, as well as to offer insight to help the owner consider various options for the future of the pool. The report summarized modification priorities divided into categories of immediate items, short-term items (0 - 5 year), as-needed items (5 - 10 year), and optional items.
