Veterans Memorial Swimming Pool (STUDY)

VIEW ALL PROJECTS

Counsilman-Hunsaker worked with the City of Cedar Park, Texas, on an expansion study to determine the best ways to expand the existing Veterans Memorial Swimming Pool to allow for greater user capacity, enhanced aquatic amenities, a better guest experience, and attract a multigenerational visitor base. Options were explored that included a lazy river to increase capacity, thrill amenities such as a waterslide or Ninjacross system, upgraded children’s interactive play structures, larger support spaces (restrooms, food, and beverage, offices), a waterslide to allow companions to ride together and more shade and rentable areas.  Capital costs were projected in preparation for a 2022 bond referendum.
