The I.E. Millstone Pool facility at Washington University in St. Louis was evaluated for deficiencies related to current code standards, structural issues, and detailed cost estimates were developed along with recommendations for remediating those deficiencies and defined a course of action regarding the facility's future.
The final report identified items for immediate repair or replacement. Recommendations included replacement of heavily corroded equipment in mechanical space, separation of pool treatment chemicals, replacement and enclosure of open surge tank in the mechanical room.
