Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York, Inc. is a religious organization organized to support the activities of Jehovah's Witnesses in the United States, such as the preaching and teaching of God's Word, the Bible. In an effort to teach as many people as possible, the organization records, produces, prints, and distributes Bibles and Bible-based literature, music, art, and other intellectual property of a religious or educational nature in any medium in over 700 languages. Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York, Inc. also uses voluntary contributions to provide facilities for the administration of Jehovah's Witnesses' activities and to provide humanitarian assistance to individuals who have suffered from natural or man-made disasters.
In 2017, construction was completed on the 253-acre, new world headquarters facility, located in Warwick, New York. Plans included design of a Bible museum, four residence buildings, an office, auditorium, maintenance power house building, vehicle maintenance building, and parking structure.
Counsilman-Hunsaker was retained to design two pools for the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society; a 1,400 sq. ft., three lane lap pool located in the new multi-use building at the world headquarters in Warwick and a new 2,000 sq. ft., four lane therapy pool located in the Recreation Building located on the Wallkill, New York campus.
