Huitt-Zollars, Inc. retained Counsilman-Hunsaker in 2021 to conduct a comparative analysis of eight indoor and outdoor combination options for the North Domingo Baca Aquatic Center design.
The analysis covered construction costs, operations and maintenance costs, operational advantages of each venue type, cost per body of water, and features. The final design option proposed by Counsilman-Hunsaker included an indoor stretch 50M pool, a warm-up and cool-down/training pool, and an outdoor recreation pool.
